Steve is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day operations, from sourcing new acquisition and development opportunities to structuring debt and equity partnerships. He also leads Blue Door’s permitting and zoning strategy, guiding projects through Boston’s complex approval pathways and working closely with architects, engineers, attorneys, and neighborhood groups to bring high-quality housing to life

SARA VELARDI - OWNER

Sara is a licensed CSL holder and manages all phases of construction, including ground-up development, onsite coordination, and relationships with lumber suppliers and subcontractors. Her hands-on approach ensures projects are executed with precision and efficiency. She is also a cabinet distributor and oversees the design elements of each project, bringing a cohesive and elevated aesthetic to every home Blue Door builds
